Winnipeg: Part One

Every summer we do the 14 hour drive to Winnipeg and spend approximately 10 days with Michael's family. There are so many fun things to do in Winnipeg, so we pack as much as we can into each day that we are there!
We arrived last Monday night and Tuesday & Wednesday were absolutely beautiful (hot!) days, so we went swimming both days.

The boys' cousin Sophie joined us at the pool. The kids played so well together and had so much fun!

The boys are fish and love swimming. (This picture makes me laugh!!)

Sophie joined right in and was part of the gang!

Triple decker!

Thursday it rained all day. So we went to the Royal Canadian Mint, it was a fantastic place to visit. Very educational and interesting.

A 23 lb brick of solid gold. It is much heavier than you would think! It is worth $500,000!!

Michael's weight is worth $3.3 million in gold:

After The Mint, we went to see a movie and then to the arcade for a bit:

The "boys" love the arcade :)

Thursday evening we went and visited our good friends Mark & Colleen. No pictures, but we had a great time visiting and the kids had a great time playing together!
