Zack's Birthday Celebration

This past week we celebrated Zack's birthday. Almost every day we did something birthday related!

Grandma & Grandpa arrived from Winnipeg and we started the party!
Saturday we went to the lake. We enjoyed a nice warm day playing games, bike rides, walks and hot dogs and smores.

Sunday afternoon we went to the corn maze. It was very sunny!

After the corn maze, we went to the Olive Garden for Zack's birthday dinner. He was very happy to have a slice of cake all to himself!

On Monday it was his actual birthday. Everyone came over for dessert and Zack opened all his gifts. He was so happy!

Happy Birthday Zack!!

On Thursday we had his friend party at Treehouse. He had a GREAT time with all his friends!!

What a busy week celebrating our 6 year old!!

This year, we celebrated Thanksgiving at the lake. It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed the warm weather!

The cute cooks!

After dinner, we went for a walk. The boys led us on an "exploring adventure", through the trails and bush around the cabin.

After, a game of volleyball:

We even managed to get a few family pictures:

I love spending Thanksgiving at the lake!

September was a busy month! We spent quite a bit of time out at the lake, the boys all started school and just life in general!

September long weekend we went to the lake. My parents and Oma were out for part of the weekend too. The boys just love being out there! They play in their fort, ride the quad, bike ride, play games and just have lots of fun!

The boys showing Omi the fort:

"Fixing" the quad?

Hot dog and s'mores for supper!

Playing games with Opa:

The second weekend in September was the camp work day. Everyone helped... Zack carried wood, the boys split logs and Mom and I did yard cleanup.

We also had time for a game or two:

Me and my boys!

Sitting around the fire at night is one of our favorite things to do at the lake:

There was also, a visit to the Lego store:

Hockey game with the Sagerts:

Jakob's school project:

For Jakob's science class, he made a diorama of the life of a rhino. He put together the whole thing by himself. I was especially impressed with his rhinos! Good job Jake!

Another hockey game:

A busy month!
