Hawaii: Week Nine

I can not believe that we have been in Hawaii for 9 weeks! It is going to be so hard to leave here. The boys love the ocean and they are starting to look and act like locals.
This past week was very eventful. We did something fun every single day!

Monday was our trip to Sea Life Park.

After we left Sea Life, we went on a 2 mile hike to Makapu'u lighthouse. It was a gradual climb, with the trail right beside the ocean, so it was very scenic and beautiful.

At the top!

Whales were splashing in the water beside the trail:

After Sea Life Park and a nice hike, we were ready for dinner at PF Changs:

Then a sunset walk on Waikiki beach:

We ended our VERY busy day with ice cream in Waikiki:

Tuesday was Jordan & family's last day, so the boys went surfing, boogie boarding and swimming. Then we went back to their condo to swim in their pool and have dinner with them. We had a great time!

Wednesday was another beach day!

Thursday we drove to the North Shore to go for lunch and do some shopping. My Dad and Uncle Jerry rode their bikes around Kaena Point (a 3 hour bike ride!) and we met them on the other side for lunch.

Here they come! We were waiting as their cheering section!

Friday, Amanda and I went out for a girls day: lunch at the Aulani (Disney Resort):

Then to the Aulani Spa for pedicures. These beautiful flowers were on the front desk:

Saturday we went to the Flea Market at the Aloha Stadium. The boys bought themselves shave ice, one of their favorite snacks:

When we got back from the flea market, we went to the beach. Even though it was raining, the boys wanted to go out and boogie board:

It's pouring, but they are loving it!

That wraps up a very busy and fun week!
