2012 Artisan Award Winner Blog Hop - Project 5

Welcome to day 5 of the Artisan Design Teams winning projects blog hop. Thanks for joining us from the amazing Wendy Weixler. (If you started here, keep clicking the "next" button at the bottom of each post, you'll get back around to all the 10 blogs.)

For this card I wanted to do something that wasn't a traditional sized card. I love the look of a scalloped round card! The flowers and leaves are embossed as well as the 'happy birthday'. I then cut out each flower and leaf and layered them until I got the look I was going for. The middle of the flower is a glimmer brad as well as a little matching glitter! The white background is done with the striped embossing folder from the big shot.
I think the color combo is bright and cheerful, perfect for a birthday!
