Artisan Design Team Wednesday Wow

Thanks for joining us for this week's Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! I hope you have arrived from Wendy's blog, if not, please go back and check out her great project!

For this weeks projects I used the Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit. With the exception of 2 items (Silver Foil Smooch Spritz & Silver Basic Designer Buttons) I only used the items in the bundle on the 3 cards.

When I saw this kit, I knew that I wanted to do a scrapbook page with it. I turned the little boxes into envelopes that are open on the top. Each envelope is embellished with photos and different items from the kit.

The background is sprayed with the Silver Foil Smooch spritz and so are the title letters.

Each of the little pockets have a card in them that pulls out. Each card has a little fact about Jakob at six years old.

Thanks for joining us this week. Please continue on to Cindy's blog, her projects are always so cute!

Leadership Samples - 12

Today's 2 samples are the last Leadership display projects that I have to share with you.

This card uses the Oh Hello stamp set and the Comfort Cafe Designer Series paper. It's a pretty simple card, but I really how all the colors and elements come together.

This scrapbook page uses the Oh Hello stamp set, Sycamore Street Designer Series paper, Pool Party Bakers Twine & the Sycamore Street buttons. This is one of my favorite scrapbook pages! I love the bright colors with the cute black & white pictures of Zack as a baby. The Oh Hello stamp set has so many trendy and fun images, I really loved working with it.

Panama City Beach: Week Seven

Another great week! We did a lot of stuff this week and spent a lot of time at the beach. We are enjoying every moment in the sunshine!

The boys love mini-golf! We went to Pirate's Island golf on Saturday. The weather was a bit cooler, so it was the perfect day for it.

We all went to a glow in the dark roller skating rink. It was really fun! I have never been roller skating and neither have the boys. Michael said he had been a couple of times when he was younger.

Zack used a skate helper and did really well. Levi (on the right hand side) used the skate helper a bit and went out on his own a bit too. He wanted to go fast, all the time. I couldn't get pictures of him because he was always flying past me!

Zack, taking a break on the side.

Zack getting a ride:

Jake did really well. He fell a few times, but got the hang of it pretty quickly.

Zack trying to skate without the skate helper.

We are enjoying each day at the beach knowing that we only have a few days left.
Levi cooling off with a bucket of water.

Jakob helping Zack cool off!

Dolphins swimming by us, a couple 100 feet out.

There is a sand bar about 50 feet out into the water. Jakob is coming back from the sand bar and the water is up to his chest. Where Michael and Levi are, it's up to Michael's knees.

Lots of evening swim time. All 3 boys are getting to be great swimmers. Even Zack is jumping in and swimming around!

Leadership Samples - 11

When making samples for Leadership, we received all the Sale-a-bration stamp sets, but we also received the Oh Hello set. I love this set and was so excited to make a few projects with this stamp set.

The first Oh Hello sample I have to show you today is a little envelope. I stamped and embossed the whole envelope with the Distressed Dots background stamp. The little card inserted into the envelop could be used to invite someone to a party or shower. I used the stampamajig to line up the arrow stamp. I tied Pool Party Bakers Twine around the whole envelope and finished it off with the Tangerine Tango button form the Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button pack.

The second sample today is card, again using the Oh Hello stamp set. The color combo on this card is Basic Grey, Summer Starfruit, Pink Pirouette & Whisper White.

Panama City Beach: Week SIx

Another great week! Lots of ocean time, pool time and fun days.

Crazy waves! The boys had a great time boogie boarding in the huge waves.
Jakob heading out to brave the huge waves:

Got it!

So much fun!

Michael and Jakob riding a wave:

Zack played it safe and stayed on the sand:

The next day the water was calm! The boys snorkeling.

Our first time having Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

After another Mardi Gras parade there were fireworks over the ocean. It was the first time the boys ever saw fireworks, they were pretty impressed!

Valentine's Day dessert... red velvet cake.

Artisan Design Team Wednesday Wow

Welcome to the Artisan Design Team blog hop! Hopefully you have arrived here from Wendy's blog. If not, please go back to check out her project!

Today I am sharing a scrapbook page I made of my oldest son Jakob. This past summer he played baseball for the first time! He loved playing and I wanted to capture this memory with a fun page for him.
All the Designer Series paper on this page is from the Parker's Patterns paper pack. I've added a few of the large and one of the small Soda Pop Tops for a playful look. I really like the dimension the Soda Pop Tops bring to a project. The Whisper White cardstock is pierced along the edges and spritzed with the Silver Smooch Spritz.

A few close ups of the Soda Pop Tops. Aren't they so cute!?!

The little Soda Pop Top is about the size of a button, perfect for embellishing when you don't want to use a button!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Please come back every Wednesday for the Artisan Design Teams weekly blog hop!

Now on to Cindy and her sweet project!
