A Nice Day Outdoors

It has been really, really cold here for the past week! Finally it warmed up and the boys could spend some time playing in the snow. We all went outside for a couple hours to play and get some fresh air. Jakob and Levi tried really hard to make a snow man but the snow wasn't sticky enough and Zack wandered around, thrilled that he was part of the fun!

Good Bye Old Friend

Today we said good bye to the Jeep.
It was a good vehicle for us, but it was time to say good bye.
This is the only car the boys have ever known, so they were both pretty sad when we told them it was leaving (Levi actually cried). We were all sad to see the Jeep go, but happy for what lies ahead!

As I am typing Michael is picking up our new Jeep, very exciting!!

This Week

This week has been really busy around here. This week I barely took any pictures. This week I'm hoping to get my Christmas tree decorated. Looking forward to this week being over!!

Here are a few of the pictures I took this week:

San Francisco

A week and a bit ago, Michael and I went to San Francisco! We had a really great time relaxing, sightseeing and spending time together. It was a really fun trip!

We tried to do almost everything "tourist-y" that we could in the 6 days we were there.
We rented a car the first couple of days and did some driving around...

We spent a day in Napa Valley. It rained on and off throughout the day, so it was grey and misty, but it was still beautiful.
We went to Alcatraz island and did the prison tour. It really poured that day, so it was really cold and we got pretty wet, but it was very interesting and we were both glad that we did it.

We took a cruise from the Marina to Sausalito, around Alcatraz, under the Golden Gate bridge and around by the Bay bridge. It didn't rain thankfully!
Really, really cool to see the bridge from underneath!
We also went to Union Square, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, Pier 39, Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, on a cable car, ate at some amazing restaurants and walked around a lot!

... and we even got in a short golf game at Golden Gate park!

Pumpkins and Costumes

This weekend was filled with pumpkins, costumes and candy. I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but the boys did carve a few pumpkins and I let them dress up and go trick or treating.

The boys carved 4 pumpkins with help from Daddy.

All done, great job boys!

Jakob dressed up as a firefighter, Levi was Buzz Lightyear and Zack was Nemo.

The boys and a few of their friends in front of the neighbours house.

Zack stayed home with me while the boys went out for candy.
Zack stood by the door, looking out the window at all the people on the street.
